The Day ~ I'm called a X-MAA...
Today is the day... at 5.30pm, I'll be officially a x-MAA, together with Lin, Sri, John & Jeff. We are the 'last 5' leaving MAA... (with bonuses tau - jgn jeles)
Yet, an interesting & "superbly smart action" happened... MAA advertised to hire architect (~ I'm not sure 1 architect or architects...) on 13 July 2009, whereas the last batch of VSS architects are still in this Level 21, Tower 3A, Plaza Sentral... - Something fishy aaaaa....
I slept late last night, for making small hampers to be given away to my beloved friends... Hope, they'll remember me as their friends...

The Day ~ We Save The Best For Last...
Sri came out with an idea to 'makan2' again but had no idea where... We've been to so many places... Tired of those food oledy. Then, either Sri or me, thinking of pot luck... Personally I would love to thank all my friends for the best ever makan2, even though it was very2 short notice, all of us managed to cooperate... got domino's pizza, kfc, cup cakes, mini muffins, coconut jelly, muruku, fried rice, cakes, nasi goreng & kueh2... so full... For me, the food was not important, but the 'togetherness' that we've shown... These moments will be exclusively kept in my mind... forever !!!While enjoying the lunch, there were some mata (eyes2) were eyeing on us... hahahaha... let them be... I'm sure those specific 'eyes' were 'makan hati' looking at our happiness & kecoh2...

The Day ~ I'm writing down lecture notes again...
12 July 2009 - allamak... class starts at 9am & I was late by 10 minutes... Satu hal plak ~ looking for block V, then, had to climb up to level 3 (sure I'll be thinner & thinner after this ~ pera-saan). Luckily, the prof. was still setting up his notebook & projector... Legaaa...
The first subject called 'Construction Project Management & Operational Research'. perrrrrggghhhh.... so scary & complicated - banyak kali gaks aku terkebil2 in class. The prof. did notice that I was already 'weng' coz he mentioned "Look at our architect..." My hand was writing so fast, after about 10 years not doing that...
Frankly, I don't think this course will be easy on me BUT I'm already sure that, this is what I want, to challenge myself... So, I have to study & explore & ..... (the 5 dots will be revealed later...)

The Day ~ I'm called a STUDENT again...
11 July 2009 - at around 10.00am - Alhamdulillah, I'm officially a master student of UTM. Time to get back to study table (huhhhh... after 10 years). The enrolment went very smoothly ~ again, thanks to Allah & all who've prayed for me...

Transformers.... again
When attended Datum 2009, I requested Zikri to behave. If he behave extremely good, I would get him something... Before leaving the seminar, I called and asked him, how was he doing. Cheerfully, he said that he was very good. I talked to my dad to confirm on this. My dad said the samething...
So, I headed to Parkson, KLCC, to get him a Transformers note book. I was attracted to the book for it has hologram image as the cover... (ni kes mama dia yg lebey2...) I was so sure Zikri would be excited. I was right, Zikri was grinning and jumping receiving the note book & thanked & kissed me... I told him to write beautifully in the book... He nodded...
On Tuesday night, I saw the book on the tv cabinet. It had been there for few days. I started thinking, maybe my Az-Zikri didn't really like the book. I talked to my Mr. Hensem ~ same opinion. So after work yesterday, I made an effort to get something else for him. Still, the Transformers merchandises laaa.... So many of them & they are not cheap... Finally, I decided to buy him a set of Bumble Bee mechanical pencil & eraser plus stickers. Those were cheaper than the note book...
I planned not to hand in him the new gifts, instead, I put them on his study table. As he came back from school, I asked him to put his bag in his room... Guess what.... He immediately gigling, jumping, squeezing his body with extremely happy facial expression & thanked me... and said "Zikri suka sangat". He immediately wrote down beautifully in the note book...
My conclusion ~ my Az-Zikri adores the pencil & stickers more than the note book, even the note book is more expansive...
Moral of the story:
sometimes we think ~ our opinions will do good to others - especially our kids...
do, think twice ~ we would be better, if we put ourselves in their conditions, to figure out their needs...
(...& it's not wrong at all to be childish...)

Dalam 1 meeting yang amat membosankan, tiba2 Pn. Arkitek (Pn.A) menerima 1 sms drp En. Account (En.A): "Dato X bawak d 24. Dah seludup sebiji"
Pn.A agak blur2 pun membalas: "Dia dpt dr mana? Abg seludup utk apa? D24 tak leh tukar lense"
Sure dalam terkekeh2, En.A membalas: "Durian d24 le sayang"
Pn.A pun tersengih ala2 kerang busuk, tanpa menghiraukan ahli panel meeting yang lain, pula membalas: "Mati2 ingat nikon d24, so en hensem, next time kalu cakap or sms, biar le TERANG tau. Hehehe... 1 biji je ke?"

Happy Birthday Emak
I was so busy this morning. After sending Zikri to school, Azhan & me sent Zafran to my parents' place. I handed over Zafran to Mak... Mak asked whether I was not working... (no wonder she asked, I wasn't 'intact' ~ hahahaha....)
My routine for every morning - to check my list of events on the phone, but I didn't do that this morning... At about 9.30am, I checked it ~ allamak, today is my mom's birthday... ishhh.... I felt regret for not wishing her earlier, when i met her. So, straight away, I called home & wished her. She seemed happy ~ Syukur... (Previously, I always been the first person wishing her & would asked Zikri to say so...)
Another big Q - what to get her this year....
Hint ~ she admired 1 of my tudungs. I've tried looking for 1 for her, but no more stock... mmmmm, should I just give mine to her... I don't mind at all ~ giving mine to her, it just that I have worn it, once... So. is it OK???

DATUM 2009
3~5 July 2009 - will be the first time i'm attending DATUM 2009... have no idea, what it will look like...

4 July 2009 - I bumped into Jerry during morning tea. He asked 'how was the seminar?' I answered - 'frankly I think it was boring'. Jerry agreed... (huh rata2, memang boring...) - I think I am a better presentor than them, it just that I don't have great pieces of architecture to talk about...

6 July 2009 - actually those speakers have great masterpieces and ideas to be discussed. Cuma, they didn't make their presentation lively. 1 or 2 did. Zhang Ke did. Lots of laughing and handclapping during his slot... & I still remember his saying of his red building - Nobody cares...

My 6th Anniversary...

01 July 2009 - what a gloomy silence...
today is my 6th anniversary day at arkitek MAA. nothing happenning... i planned to celebrate it with all my cheerful friends... yet... takde rezeki & mood... dah makin kurang, lagipun, kami yang tinggal ni pun in a very gloomy silence...
however, i thanked lin for bringing me (& dina) to Jelita, where i shopped for some cloths..
